At 11:03 hours stations 49, 48, ENG45 and AMB46 were dispatched to a odor of natural gas at the Dairy Queen, 1225 Horseshoe Pike in East Brandywine Twp. AST49 arrived and advised there was a odor of gas detected in multiple stores in the complex which led to an immediate evacuation. CHF49 arrived and established Croppers CMD, PECO was also made aware of the situation and had a crew enroute. After further investigation it was determined that work crews were using gasoline on the roof and the fumes were drawn in by the air handling systems in each business. Afetr all the stores were ventilated the departments cleared at 11:56 hours. *ENG481 and ENG485*

At 16:10 hours stations 49, 48, and AMB144 were dispatched to Rt 322 and Rt 82 in West Brandywine Twp for the auto accident. While units were enroute Chester County Fire Radio advised responding units that the Police Dept was on scene with multiple injuries and entrapment asking for additional ambulances. At that time MED93 and 33AMB x 2 were added to the dispatch. CHF49 arrived and established 322 CMD. 1 subject was trapped and needed extricated from the vehicle. Once all occupants were packaged and transported along with the clean up complete the units cleared at 17:06 hours. *RES48 and ENG481*

At 18:44 hours the box was hit for Joe Burns Beverage on Rte 322 in East Brandywine Twp for the building fire. Stations 49, 48, ENG45, ENG46 and AMB46 were dispatched. An employee called 911 and stated the building had been struck by lightning and now had visable flames. CAP49 arrived on scene with nothing showing and established Joe Burns CMD. After further investigation the fire was contained with a smoke condition and there was a need to check for extension. The response was then scaled back to the 49 and 48 units. The situation was placed under control at 18:59 hours with units in service with ventilation. All units cleared at 19:29 hours. *ENG481 and ENG485*
