This evening members of Glen Moore Fire Company attended the Upper Uwchlan Township meeting as they recognized the 2016 Junior Firefighter of the year.

Max Quinn has just completed his second year as a Junior Firefighter at GMFC. Joining at the age of 14, Max is very devoted to making every training session and taking his Firefighting skills to the next level. Max has been a great asset to the department and does a phenomenal job mentoring the up and coming Juniors.

Trip Down Memory Lane:

Wallace Township Historical Commission invited members of the Glen Moore Fire Company to attend their monthly work session.
The members enjoyed photos, newspaper clippings, blueprints, and several other items from the beginning of GMFC back in 1915. These item have been delicately preserved by the members of the committee.

During the meeting members of the commission presented Fire Chief Mike King with a book of highlights from 1915 to present day GMFC History.
Members enjoyed refreshments while telling stories and sharing memories from the past.

Member of the Glen Moore Fire Company would like to thank the Wallace Township Historical Commission for their dedication in preserving the history of Wallace Township and Glen Moore Fire Company.
