This evening the members of the Glen Moore Fire Company gathered at the firehouse for our weekly drill night, this week the members focused on training on firefighter survival. The training night taught some of the newer members about how to follow a hose line out of a building in a simulated zero visibility situation by following and reading the couplings on their attack lines. The members followed the hose line back through a maze that was set up to test their confidence in being able to self extricate themselves in the event of a evacuation order being given on a fire scene.

While some of the members were completing the hose drill, a few of our EMT's took the time to show some of the local cub scouts troop 79 kids the basics of first aid and some of the life saving tools that we carry on Squad 48. The cubs then took a quick tour of the station and then thanked the members for their hospitality and went back to their meeting spot.
