Chester County Spring FF1 Graduation

Last evening several members of the Glen Moore Fire Company attended the Chester County Public Safety Training Center's Firefighter 1 Graduation to watch one of our own graduate. Firefighter Royce Dorman completed the 172 hour recruit training program to become a firefighter at GMFC.

The goal of this program is provide basic knowledge and skills to perform firefighting duties safely and efficiently on the fire ground. The class included Hazmat Operations, CPR/AED, and a Structural Burn component. All Students are required to show proficiency in numerous skills as well pass written exams to graduate.

The Glen Moore Fire Company would like to thank Royce for his commitment to the program and GMFC. We would also like to thank Royce's wife and children for their support through this 8 week program.
