On Sunday morning, around 12:20am, the fire company was dispatched for two calls. One dispatch called for an engine assist to Lionville Fire Company (Station 47). Station 47 along with mutual aid companies were dispatched for a reported building fire in Chester Springs. Assistant 47 made the response and determined that GMFC's engine was not needed and recalled the assignment.

At the same time, the company received a call for a motor vehicle accident in Wallace Township. Assistant 48, Engine 48-1, Squad 48, and Fire Police made the response. The accident caused downed wires and damaged three utility poles. As a result, the road was closed for several hours. The crews from GMFC provided hazard control and traffic control at the scene.
