On a rainy Wednesday evening, the crew from GMFC received classroom training regarding the role of the medic at the emergency scene. John Buffington, currently a medic with Good Fellowship Ambulance Company, spoke about his role and displayed some of the equipment that is carried by the medics in Chester County. John also talked about how firefighters can assist the medic and how the medic can assist firefighters if one of them needs emergency medical attention.

John Buffington previously served as a dedicated medic for the Chester County SWAT Team. He trained with the team and would be available to provide emergency medical attention to the officers if it was needed. John served on the team with GMFC's current Assistant Chief Andy Chambers.
