On Wednesday evening, the volunteers from the Glen Moore Fire Company were invited to participate in a joint training with the Downingtown Fire Department. Downingtown Fire Dept. had acquired several structures and were given permission to use them for training before they are to be demolished. Firefighters were split into 4 different groups with each group focusing on a different skill. The stations included primary search; vent-enter-search; ventilation; and ladders. Firefighters were able to move through different stations and practice the skill.
The members of the Glen Moore Fire Company would like to thank the Downingtown Fire Department for this training experience and wonderful learning opportunity.
