County Commissioners Ban Open Burning

The Chester County Commissioners Office imposed a thirty day open burning ban effective immediately.

Dry conditions, low humidity, and wind make conditions favorable for fires to spread rapidly out of control. The burning ban includes barrels (screen and unscreened), fire rings, and burning directly on the ground.

Please report any outside burning by dialing 911.
