| On Thursday February 27th Glen Moore Fire Co. along with Honey Brook Fire Co , East Brandywine Fire Co. , Twin Vally Fire Co. were alerted to a possible building fire at Custom Woodworking along Horeshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township.
Chief 33 went on location with light smoke condition. Within moments he gave an update to a fire in a dust collection unit to the rear of the building. Units arriving were instructed to assemble to the rear of the building and deploy hand lines to extinguish the fire. Ladder 49 was set up for aerial operations.
Crews placed hand lines into service above and below the collector to suppress the dust in the unit to avoid an explosion . The fire was placed under control a short while later and extensive overhaul began to dissemble the unit to make sure all hazards were addressed.
All units returned available. |
