On the evening of June 6, 2014, Captain 48(M. King) and Firefighter Paul DeCarlo made a special request to escort Past Assistant Chief Josh Wuertz's neice Courtney and three friends to the Coatesville Senior Prom.
The Wuertz Family informed GMFC that Courtney wished to be driven in the fire truck dedicated to her Uncle Josh's memory. Engine 48-1 was dedicated in Assistant Chief Wuertz's name after his untimely passing.
We would like to thank the Wuertz Family for the invitation and hope we helped make it a memorable evening.
