| The day started off at 1156 hrs when station 69 (Twin Valley FD) was dispatched to the unit block of Isabella Rd in West Nantmeal Twp for the corn field on fire. BRU691 arrived on scene and requested 2 additional brush units and a tanker, that added TAC48, BRU33 and ENG335. CMD69 then requested another brush truck to the scene, Lancaster BRU34 was then added to the assignment. At 1234 hrs the fire was placed under control with all units working, LBRU34 was reassigned to relocate to station 69 along with ENG625. Units cleared at 1317 hrs. *TAC48*
At 2038 hrs ENG481 was dispatched to relocate to Berks County station 24 while Berks Co units were operation on numerous brush fires and a building fire. ENG481 made the response with 5 and stood by with ENG335. ENG481 was available at 2340 hrs. *ENG481*
While ENG481 was relocating to Berks Co the department was dispatched at 2114 hrs for an Engine to assist station 49 (East Brandywine FD) in the 100 blk of Crawford Rd in East Brandywine Twp for the woods fire. AST49 arrived on scene with a 100 x 100 area involved and asked for 2 additional brush units as well as 2 additional Engines. TAC48, BRU45 (Alert FD) and 2 Engines from 46 (Minquas FD) were added to the assignment. At 2136 hrs Command advised that the bulk of the fire was knocked down and had a under control time at 2140 with all units working. All units cleared the scene at 2219 hrs. *ENG485 TAC48* |
