On the evening of Wednesday March 30 the members of the Glen Moore Fire Company traveled to Honey Brook fire company's local to participate in a rural water supply drill with the Honey Brook fire company. The members set up of a port-a-tank and established a tanker task force to supply the simulated fire scene with water in an area with limited or no fire hydrants. Engine 48-1 took up drafting from the port-a-tank at the base of the roadway and relayed the water up the driveway into Engine 33-1 which had 3 hand lines in service flowing water into a pond. Engine 48-5 along with mutual aid tankers from station 5 (East Whiteland), station 33 (Honey Brook), Lancaster station 49 (White Horse), and Lancaster station 34 (Churchtown) all shuttled water from the fill site where station 37 (Modena) was drafting water out of a nearby creek and pumping the water to the arriving tankers to take to the dump site. Each tanker made multiple trips to the dump site dumping their water in the port-a-tank and returned to the fill site to fill again to reload. The tankers dumped approximately 36,000 gallons of water into the pond during the drill.
