| On the evening of Saturday April 2, 2016, the members of the Glen Moore Fire Company took the night off to celebrate 101 years of dedicated service to their community.
Every year the Glen Moore Fire Company holds a recognition banquet for the members to celebrate their dedication and service the previous year to the residents that they serve. This years banquet was held at the Hershey's Mill Golf Club. The banquet kicked off with a social hour from 6-7pm, shortly after, the members and guests enjoyed a great meal from the Hershey's Mill staff. This has been the 8th year in a row that we have held our banquet at Hershey's Mill Golf Club.
After the meal the invited guests and company officers were introduced. Following the introduction president Rick King presented past chief Jeff Hannum and Anthony Bocchicchio with awards for their dedicated work in the planning of our 100th year anniversary fundraisers and parade. Without their leadership and help during this time the 100th year celebration of the Glen Moore Fire Company would not have gone as smoothly as it did. President Rick King also presented secretary Desiree Seese with a special service award for her hard work and dedication serving as secretary since 2010. Fire chief Mike King then presented Steve Miller with an award thanking him for his many years many dedicated years of service serving as a chief officer. Chief Mike King also presented the EMS Responder of the year award to EMS Captain Joe Crawford who has in the past year made great improvements in the companies QRS division. Finally three Above and Beyond awards were given out two Lt.A Jason Trego, Chief Engineer Keith Blevins, and Firefighter J.R. Phillips, for their dedication to the company and constant hard work.

Following the awards presentation our DJ Marc Hayford picked participants to participate in a Glen Moore Fire Company trivia game. This was a great start for the evening's entertainment. After the game DJ KingHayf provided music for additional socializing and dancing.(www.facebook.com/DjKingHayf)
