March 13, 2012

At 1:38am this morning, March 13th, the Department was alerted for Engine 48-1 and Ladder 49 to assist Honey Brook Fire Company on a working mobile home fire on Violet Drive in Honey Brook Township.

Shortly after Deputy 33 went enroute, County Fire Radio advised him that the fire was in the living room and the occupants were evacuating. Upon his arrival Deputy 33 confirmed the report and assumed command.

As a result of an efficient interior attack by firefighters from Honey Brook, fire loss was kept to a minimum.

Engine 48-1 and Ladder 49 returned to quarters and were back in service shortly after 4am.

The Officers of Glen Moore Fire Company would like to congratulate Honey Brook Officers and Firefighters for a job well done!

Units: Engine 48-1, Ladder 49, Traffic 49
