| This week members of the Glen Moore Fire Company ventured to Clintonville, Wisconsin in preparation for a preconstruction meeting at the Seagrave Fire Apparatus Plant. The group was guided by our salesman, Rob Zelehoski from Foley Fire Apparatus in Piscataway, NJ.
The meeting started with a detailed tour of the Seagrave facility. During the tour the crew witnessed the entire fabrication process from start to finish. The construction of the stainless steel cab and the final products on the floor were the highlights of the tour.
Soon after the tour it was down to business. Our time was spent with several engineers going over the components of the chassis, pump, electrical system, and body. The next two days and fifteen hours later our truck was on paper.
The Glen Moore Fire Company would like to thank Brett Romberg from Seagrave Fire Apparatus and Rob Zelehoski from Foley Fire Apparatus for their hospitality during our visit. |
