Working Garage Fire Wallace Twp.

On August 17th, Glen Moore Fire Company and East Brandywine Fire Company were alerted to a house fire on Indian Run Road. Wagontown Fire Company and Honey Brook Fire company were also dispatched as mutual aid. Within minutes, Engine 48-1 and Engine 49-1 responded.

Chief 48 signed on the air and changed the location to Robertson Way. He discovered a fire in a garage and requested the working fire dispatch. Engine 48-1 arrived moments later. They laid a 5" supply line from the dry hydrant located along Robertson Way down to the scene. The crew deployed an inch and 3/4 line and extinguished the fire. Engine 49-1 was ordered to draft out of the dry hydrant and supply Engine 48-1. Their crew went to the second floor to open up and check for extension. As other units were arriving, the fire was placed under control.
