Oh deer, buses

We would like to remind all of our residents that today is the first day of school. Drive with care and use caution as there will be more traffic on the roadways with parents and busses taking children to and from school. Also be more alert for children standing on the side of the roadway and at the end of driveways to be picked up by the busses. A reminder that you CAN NOT pass a bus with the lights flashing. It is illegal and you will pay a hefty fine as well as LOSE your driver's license. On the same note with summer ending it is that time for the deer to do their thing. The deer will be out and about in the early morning and evening hours being more active and crossing the roads, so please slow down and drive with cautuion.

Parents, now that your kids are back in school and you may have some free time during the day we could still use some more volunteers during the daylight hours. If interestered and willing to help out your community please call the station or stop by on our G4 training nights which are on Wednesday nights at 7pm. Thank you for the continued support and good luck to all the students for another successful school year!
