AT 2056 hrs station 49, ENG481, AMB/MED 46 were dispatched to Dowlin Forge Rd east of Rte 282 in East Brandywine Twp for the auto accident. The 911 center received calls of a 2 vehicle accident blocking the roadway. At 2104 hrs AST9 arrived and confirmed 1 trapped reporting that the door and roof needed removal. ENG491 arrived and went in service with the rescue tools, ENG481 arrived and the crew staged while the roof was being removed. Once the roof was removed the crew from ENG481 assisted the 46 EMS crew in back boarding the patient and removing him from the vehicle. Once the patient was removed and placed in the ambulance he was then transported to Paoli Memorial Trauma Center. ENG481 was clear at 2141 hrs.
